Is it an emergency?
- Fire, smoke, or anyone hurt: call 911 first.
- You smell gas: leave the building without switching anything on or off, then call ATCO Gas’s 24-hour emergency line at 780-420-5585, or 911, from outside.
- Water leaking or flooding: if you can safely do it, close the shut-off valve under the sink or behind the toilet. Then send this form marked Emergency.
- Power out: check whether neighbouring buildings are dark too. If they are, it is an area outage: report it to EPCOR at 780-412-4500. If only your suite is out, check your breaker panel, then send this form.
